The Coral Restoration Consortium is driven by action and results. The symposium of the International Coral Reef Society, founded in 1980, is the most important international congress on coral reef research. The Society wishes to express its gratitude to the sponsors who made the conference possible. The Tenth International Coral Reef Symposium had been successfully implemented in the Okinawa Convention Center, Okinawa, Japan, from June28 to July 2, 2004. The ICRS Student Committee (now Chapter) was created in mid 2017 aiming to enhance career skills and to promote the research conducted by students worldwide. We are a group of enthusiastic reef science students, diverse in both nationality and research topics.
