RESEARCH METHODS FOR THE PUBLICATION ASSIGNMENT

Here you can download the PDF that we went through in class last week.

The first part is about the post digital publishing and the discussion we carried out around the idea of self publishing, zines and web and multimedia content in publishing and transition from paper to screen etc. You can view the full book on this link or order it, it is an inspirational book for all designer whether designing for paper or screen.

Responsive Design

screen_resoltions

As we have discussed in class last week, throughout the semester we will try to adapt responsive design as a general principle for all screen based presentations. It is more of an understanding rather then being an advance technology. It does not require any more skills then you already can do with HTML/CSS however the coding style needs to be absorbed and practised over and over again.

Also please go through these two tutorials. First one is to warm up after the summer break and second and third one are to get familiar with coding for responsive layouts.
